Systems Check T-Minus One Hour (maybe, perhaps)

We're almost set for our greatest adventure. This is truly the most important trip of our lives, apart from Mom's trip to Denver back in May and Craig's trip back home in July. You can't ignore the anxiety and anticipation that exists -- that this might be our last trip with Craig, that it might be a permanent trip. But, there is also a palpable buzz that we are going...somewhere, anywhere else but the hospital and his apartment.

Jill and I have packed Craig's bags and have gathered his personal treasures -- harmonicas included. We're to the point of doing a systems check. Oxygen? Check! Morphine pump? Check. Craig's pharmacy? Check. Craig? uhhhh. We'll wake him in a few...
